About the Owners

Owners, Jon & Helen Davis, are a young professional couple living in the south of England. They have two young children and therefore know the difficulties in taking young children abroad. They have therefore ensured guests with babies or toddlers have access to a high level of suitable equipment, ensuring that the villa contains many safety features. They equally wish to cater for adults-only visitors and therefore equipment for children is largely out of sight.

Jon and Helen, and Jon's parents (who currently act as honorary booking agents) have extensive knowledge of Northern Cyprus & in particular the Kyrenia region, having stayed in the area many times over the last 20 years. Why this location?

Esentepe is a lovely quiet area set in the foothills of the beautiful Besparmak mountain range, topped with pine trees. It is far enough away from the bustle of Kyrenia - with its pretty harbour - but close enough to enjoy all that Kyrenia has to offer when required. Esentepe is a quaint, largely unspoilt village, and is often described as the gateway to the beautiful but more remote Karpas peninsular. A new but largely deserted highway allows much easier access to the Karpas than hitherto.
